  • How long can a typical roof last?

The lifespan of a roof depends on several factors including the type of material used, the quality of installation, and the climate. On average, a roof can last between 15-25 years.

  • How much does it cost to replace a roof?

The cost of roof replacement varies depending on the size of the roof, the type of material used, and the extent of the damage. On average, it can cost between $3,000 to $10,000+.

  • Do roofing contractors offer warranties on their work?

Yes, most reputable roofing contractors offer warranties on their work to ensure that their customers are satisfied with the installation, repair or replacement of their roofs.

  • What are the signs of a damaged roof?

Some common signs of a damaged roof include missing or cracked shingles, leaks in the attic or ceiling, water stains on walls or ceilings, and visible damage to the roof itself.

  • Can general contractors also provide roofing services?

Yes, many general contractors offer roofing services in addition to other construction services so long as they have the C-39 license enhancement.

  • How can I choose the right roofing or general contracting company?

When choosing a roofing or general contracting company, it is important to consider their experience, qualifications, reputation, and customer reviews. It is also important to check if they are licensed, insured, and offer warranties on their work.

  • How often should I inspect my roof?

Ways To Extend the Life of Your Roof

CLEAR DEAD AND OVERHANGING BRANCHES

Have a professional tree service evaluate the branches hanging over your roof and decide whether or not they are a risk. If the branches are dead, that increases the chance of them falling onto your roof and causing damage. In addition, heavily shaded areas of your roof can retain moisture, which sometimes leads to mold. Regular trimmings of overhanging branches will help your roof dry in a uniform manner.

ROUTINE INSPECTIONS

+

 MAINTENANCE

Hiring a licensed professional to conduct routine inspections and maintenance is highly suggested to extend the life of your roof.

KEEP YOUR GUTTERS CLEAR

By keeping your gutters , scuppers, and drains clear your roof will shed water as designed.

This includes flat roofs. When the water is not draining properly due to blockage the roofing material will deteriorate at a much faster rate. Water should never pond on a flat roof.
